I agree and not that i want to pop the motor it should be up to the owner. After all the tuner in my case has you sign a waiver protecting him of this. I can understand hesitation pushing timing but at the end of the day if the tuner dont put timing in it, its a big waste of money.
I went with a progressive snow kit and unless your tuner is willing to put timing in the motor dont waste your money. Its hard IMO, To find a tuner willing to do this.......

You dont need to touch your engine, gaskets ect. With that compression you will be safe to at least 10psi of boost. My car ran perfect with 10.1 and 12+ pounds of boost and most important a gooood tune.
